So you want a Newf?

I don't blame you; Newfoundlands are the most wonderful canine companions you can have. They are friendly, good with children, loyal, playful, and trustworthy among many other wonderful traits. However, there are several things to consider before bringing a Newf into your home. Here are just a few things to think about.
1. Do I have the time to spend with my new puppy? 2. Can I keep them inside most of the time? (Newfs are family members and not to be left outside the majority of the time, especially in hotter climates) 3. Do I have the time and patience to train, groom, and play with my new family member? 4. Do I have the financial means to provide proper veterinary care and to provide a high quality food for my Newf? 5. Can I live with all the drooling and shedding?
